2012 MOKU O Hawaii Season Begins!

The Moku O Hawaii Season has begun. It will be a busy season this year because every weekend starting May 12th will have a race.
Below is the schedule of the first five races
May 12 Kawaihae CC Long Distance, Kawaihae
May 19 Kaiehitu CC Regatta, Kona Pier
May 26 Tui Tonga CC Regatta, Hilo Bay
June 2 Paddlers of Laka Regatta, Hilo Bay
June 9 Kai Opua CC Regatta, Kona Pier

First Outrigger Canoe Club in Tonga
Nuku'alofa Outrigger Canoe Club
It is the first Outrigger Canoe Club established in Tonga.
It is a great start to getting more clubs created and more paddlers on the water. Tui Tonga hopes to see you competing real soon!

Japan Tsunami Memorial Held in Kona
March 11,2012
March 11, 2012 marks the one year anniversary of the Tsunami disaster in Japan and the damage it caused on Big Island's West shores.
Tui Tonga, Kai Opua, Kaiehitu, and Keauhou Canoe Clubs
participated in the event that started at 7:00am.
